Build classroom community while creating a colorful collaborative display with Together We Create, a group art project designed to show students how individual creativity can become part of something larger. Students complete their own section of the artwork and then combine the individual pieces to create one unified mural. The finished display becomes both a collaborative art experience and a visual reminder that every student contributes something important to the classroom community. This project works especially well at the beginning of the school year, but it can also be used for community-building, school displays, open house, collaborative art units, or anytime students need an activity centered on connection and teamwork. Encourage students to make their section their own rather than trying to make every piece look identical.
